Mark Wahlberg earned both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for his standout work in the family boxing film "The Fighter" and Martin Scorses's acclaimed drama "The Departed." Mark has played diverse characters for visionary filmmakers such as David O. Russell, Tim Burton and Paul Thomas Anderson.

As an accomplished film and television producer, Mark has also received a BAFTA, a Peabody, seven Emmy nominations, six Golden Globe nominations and a Golden Globe for "Boardwalk Empire" in 2011.

He started The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation in 2001 to benefit inner city children and teens growing up in challenging circumstances similar to his own upbringing.  

Over the years, the foundation has sent kids to summer camp, built gyms and arts studios around the country, and supported countless organizations through funding and grants.  Mark worked closely with the Taco Bell Foundation to encourage teens to finish high school and even received his own diploma in 2013.

Mark serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Sheriff's Youth Foundation of LA County and The Felix Organization.  He was inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Alumni Hall of Fame in 2012.  He has also received the Bob Hope Award from the Medal of Honor Society for his work to support our military.

Presently, Mark and his wife Rhea live in Los Angeles with their four children, Ella, Michael, Brendan and Grace.
